Michael Shearn came to Iowa Realty Commercial with a highly diverse background in online marketing, publishing, real estate management, manufactured housing sales as well as mobile home park development, management and oversight. In addition to Michael’s professional duties as a Commercial Agent, he has provided management oversight and due diligence for the Heath Family Irrevocable Trust that owned and operated multi-family commercial income properties located in Seattle, WA and Raleigh, NC. 

A graduate (cum laude) of the Drake University College of Management and Pubic Administration, Michael showed his command of financial concepts and dedication to hard work by being accepted to the prestigious Economics Honors Program in his junior year. In 2004 his independent study in Marketing was engaged and favorably reviewed by the Marketing and Statistics Department chairs. It was submitted to national peer review and vetting in 2005 then subsequently published in the International Journal of Electronic Commerce Vol. 1, No.2. In 2003 he was the recipient of the Drake Literary Award as well.

 Michael specializes in single and multi-family income properties, mobile home parks, and manufactured housing communities.  As well as selling commercial real estate Michael also owns and manages his own multi-family units which allows him to provide the degree of expertise that comes with the first hand knowledge and experience he has gained as a landlord.  With his background in communications, publishing and online marketing Michael knows how to develop and maintain the greatest exposure for your property or how to find that one special property you need to mesh with your investment plans.

It has always been Michael’s goal to first gain the trust of every potential client and then exceed his clients’ expectations for service and professionalism. He conducts his business by following the Marketing Imperative “Find the customer’s need and then fill it.”
